THE POST HARI RAYA VISIT

It is something common nowadays that Hari Raya is celebrated even after the month of Syawal has ended. There were just too many houses to visit and too little time. As the saying goes, better late than never. And today a group of friends came over: Puan Yusidah and family, Puan Anum and her cute daughter, and also Puan Jaronah.

Thanks also to them for bringing together a birthday cake. Thank god there was no singing of birthday song, blowing the candles and clapping hands. The cake was good enough.

Later in the evening, two ex-students dropped by, Shamsul and Radin, from SPM batch 2002. Shamsul is still waiting for his posting as a future teacher in school while Radin is a policeman in Batu Pahat. Of all my ex-students, it was actually a surprise to know that Radin has joined the police force but he has physically changed now, definitely.

I guess by tomorrow the carpet can be rolled, the cookies canisters can be emptied and washed, and the special deco for Eid can already be stored in the original place. Nevertheless, to those who have not yet had the chance to come over, do remember that visiting is not only done during the festive season. You are all always welcome to my house all year round.
