EXPLORING MIRI MARKETS IN THE MORNING [PART ONE]

MARKET #3

I started my walk early to the markets of Miri. As the internet line is quite slow here (including my broadband), I only post part by part.
The third venue that I visited, the most peculiar thing I came across at the market was the ketupat casing that was made from nipah leaves. All this while, there are made from coconut leaves. The casings are on sale regularly, not just for Eid celebration.

And this was my catch of the day:

"kuih cincin" ~ RM17
dried shrimps - RM42/kilogramme
salak fruit ~ RM8/kilogramme
banana ~ RM2; for breakfast, dinner, lunch and all the meals
