THE SIXTH DAY OF EID 1432H

THE PRESENT FORM 3 STUDENTS

The first group to arrive was three form three and a form five students. It was nottheir first time for Faiz, Afiq and Zharfan, except for Rahmat. They were sent by Faiz's father who was kind enough to drive them all the way from Taman Universiti and to pick them back later.

EX-STUDENTS OF SPM 2009 BATCH

The next group was then the boys from SPM 2009 batch. They should be familiar with my house as they arrived in a car and two motorbikes. Remembering those early days when they started coming using public transportation but they have now grown up not to rely on buses and taxis anymore. Everybody is still studying and about to start with their new academic calendar real soon.

HILMI AND SHAHRIL

These two guys, from SPM 2004 batch, are not my ex-students from SMK Taman Universiti. I only taught them in tuition classes at night held in their school, SMK Kempas, when they were in form three. And later I still coached them for English when they were in form 5, in my own tuition class. Shahril is now a teacher himself teaching in a MRSM residential school in Perak while Hilmi is still doing his Master degree in USM. This is a proof how tuition classes can also develop good rapport between students and teachers.

EX-STUDENTS OF SPM 2008 BATCH

One surprise visit was from a group of girls from SPM 2008 batch who finally made it to my house from the instructions of which route to take on telephone. It was the first Raya visit for Izzati, Insyirah, Huda and Fatihah and I hope they will come back later for many more years to come.

AVINASH & AMIR HANIF

The last visitors of the day were Avinash and Amir Hanif, regular well-wishers from SPM 2006 batch. Avinash was in the midst of moving away to Kuala Lumpur with his dear mother after his father passed away recently. He is still studying, doing English Literature in Universiti Malaya while Amir Hanif is in UTM.

School has already started which means the flow of people visiting has come to a halt, perhaps until the weekends. There are still some familiar faces who have not yet arrived and I am expecting them real soon.
