EATING OUT WITH EX-STUDENTS' FAMILY

Saturday, 10th December ~ This was another eating out session that had been postponed a few times. However, the time seemed to be just right this time round so we decided to meet up for dinner at Banafee Restaurant nearby.

one happy family at the dining table

It was a Saturday night and the place was fully occupied (with Singaporeans supposedly). The problem when an eating place has become too famous, it will be visited by many people. And the problem when there are too many people, with other functions (please note the plural form) going on at the same time, the management and the staff just cannot cope with the crowd.

I had been here a few times before but we were unfortunate as the service was very slow and the food was just so-so. I chose spaghetti meatballs again but the one I had at Secret Recipe the day before was far more better. (Hopefully the people from Secret Recipe are reading this and will give me meal vouchers for the compliment). The moral of the story: never go out to eat on weekends in JB at well-known restaurants.

However, we had a jolly good time exchanging the latest news and gossip. We had planned to go to other place some other time but before that, thanks a lot Ariff and Aliff as well as their parents, from the bottom of my heart, for the dinner and fun time.
