"ROSE DEDICATION" PROJECT FOR TEACHERS' DAY

This year was the second time for the fifth formers of the Kadet Bomba boys to organize Rose Dedication in conjunction with the Teachers' Day celebration. As the event fell on Wednesday, and the students had to sit for examination on Monday and Tuesday, the work could only be done in the afternoon a day before. This meant we had less than 24 hours to finish everything.

There were about 600 roses to process so everybody had to work really hard. However, based on previous year's experience, we knew how to do it faster this time. And there were other people who came to help, with their small children tagging along. We stopped work at 2:00 a.m. and had to stay overnight as it was already very late.

Congratulations to all the members of this small group. Hopefully with the profit from this project, we would get enough money to finance our next project after the students have finished their SPM examination but we still have time to generate more income. Thanks to Puan Intan for helping us for the second time. And thanks also to Puan Nooraini as well as Miss Rubiah and Mr. Mutalib, the ex-students, who had voluntarily come to help us.
