SHANGHAI DAY 5 - THE BEAUTIFUL BUND IN THE MORNING [PART ONE]

3rd June ~ With just a few more hours before leaving Shanghai, I decided to go and have a final look at the Bund in the morning, accompanied by the two hardcore runners. We arrived at the place at 8:00 a.m. The morning was perfect - sunshine, blue sky and cold wind to lower down the temperature. With all that, walking along the stretch of pedestrian boulevard at the Bund was actually something one should not miss.

The scenery was really breathtaking and this part of Shanghai was extremely beautiful in broad daylight. There were some people who had already been there much earlier than us. Surprisingly, they were occupied with their own activities, considering that it was a working day. There were people who jogged or walked, flew kite or fished, or practiced their "taichi" routines, while the tourists observed and took pictures of everything. That would simply be the best way to enjoy a summer day.

More pictures of the beautiful Bund coming up after this.
