CHRISTCHURCH BOTANIC GARDENS IN THE EVENING

Christchurch Botanic Gardens was situated very near to Canterbury Museum, right at the side of the building. On that day, the weather was really hot which was a drastic change to what I had experienced in the North Island. It was rather cooling to get the opportunity to walk under the shade of the green trees, with all the green surrounding.

This was another huge area of greenery in the city. We were there quite late so we could not explore much. There were not many people but those who were there we just strolling around the place, enjoying the gardens as much as we were doing.

NEXT: walking into another rose garden.
