BANDUNG DAY 2 - KAWAH PUTIH

16th September ~ After breakfast, we went straight to Kawah Putih. It was actually a volcanic crate that was filled with water and formed a lake. The water was a bit greenish and the soil was yellowish as sulfur was condensed under the hot sun. The smell of sulfur filled the air and it would linger on your clothes for a long time. I wonder whether the water in the lake is acidic.

It was not good to stay there for too long. We could see many people wearing face masks. This is one place you should never miss though when you are in Bandung. Beautiful scenery and lower temperature here, and there are actually a few other attractions that we stopped by right after.
