WAT RONG KHUN A.K.A THE WHITE TEMPLE

On the second day in Chiang Rai, which was on the 16th of December 2015, I joined a group tour to explore more of the place. For a one-day tour, I had to pay 1000 baht. There were only three people in the group, a couple from Holland and I. Unfortunately, the driver only drove us around from morning until late afternoon, without telling us any information of the places we visited.

Firstly, we stopped at a temple called Wat Rong Khun or famously known as the White Temple. Here, you could see the beauty of the architecture. There is a blend of traditional and modern art in the sculptures and design of the buildings. Read more about the temple by clicking HERE.

This should be one of the most prominent landmarks in Chiang Rai. We spent about 45 minutes here before moving to the next venue.
