MOVIE REVIEW - "SING"

My effort to brave through the traffic jam and to fight for a parking space at the busy shopping mall one Sunday just to watch this movie really paid off. The movie told the story of a koala, Moon, who inherited a theatre was trying to keep the building. He came up with a plan by organizing a singing competition which offered the winning prize of $100K, by mistake. Many animals came for the audition but he shortlisted just a few for the finals. Things did not go accordingly but thank god, everything ended on a happy note.

If you like animation, comedy and music, this is the movie that you should watch. It just reminds me of George Orwell's "Animal Farms", but in a more fun way.

There were many songs featured in the movie. Some are songs that I know, some I have listened to numerous times but do not know the titles, and a few I have never known their existence. There were even Japanese songs performed by an all-girls Japanese group. Here is the list:

I would have to spend more time searching for and listening to all these songs again on Youtube.

And that should be the very last movie watched in 2016. Hoping for more exciting films coming to the cinema (nearby) next year.
