FAREWELL DINNER FOR THE RETIRING STATE EDUCATION DIRECTOR

13th January ~ I was asked to attend a farewell dinner organized by the District Education Office for the retiring State Education Director. I went to New York Hotel right after school and upon arriving, I had to search for familiar faces so I had people to talk to before, while and after eating. Thank God, there were a few friends around so everything was alright.

The event started at 8:00 p.m. and ended by 10:30 p.m. but I had to wait for 30 minutes in the car to get out from the parking lot after that. No wonder many people refused to attend this kind of function, or they ran out from the hall earlier. *sigh*
