ARASHIYAMA KOEN (PARK) - PART ONE

20th March 2017 ~ The exit connected the Arasghiyama Bamboo Groove to Arashiyama Koen. First we saw trees without leaves but the weather was pleasant so we could still sit under one and ate our food comfortably.

Then there was this one section which was filled with Sakura (cherry blossom) trees with their budding flowers in early spring. Just imagine how this place would turn out when all the flowers were in full bloom.

There were actually other foreigners/tourists busy taking photographs at this area too.

After that we were led to this walkway along a river. Surprisingly there not many people at this area, if compared to the Bamboo Groove.
