Here are some interesting facts gathered from the internet about Arashiyama Koen:
(1) This place is one of the most popular spots for cherry blossoms/sakura viewing in Spring.
(2) Arashiyama Koen also offers spectacular view during Autumn when all the leaves turn red.
I could not find much information about this park actually as it focuses on the picturesque scenery most of the time. :)
There are other tourist attractions in Arashiyama but we had only till afternoon to stay there. I guess I would need to stay longer when I visit Kyoto next time.
